- A man who is sick of London is sick of life itself, Samuel Johnson claimed, and Wyndham Wallace was heartily sick of both so he moved to Berlin in 2004. He made next to no impact on the music industry in which he worked for the best part of two decades, despite managing the legendary Lee Hazlewood (for whose final recording, 'Hilli [At The Top of The World]' he wrote the lyrics) and the glorious Cortney Tidwell, as well as running City Slang Records' UK office for eight years, setting up the short lived labels Ever Records and Easy!Tiger Records, and working as publicist for such choice acts as Guided by Voices, Lambchop and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. He now likes to think of writing as a way out and has contributed words (and sometimes pictures) to publications such as Uncut (UK), The Guardian (UK), The Sunday Times (UK), The Observer (UK), and J Mag (Australia). He has also - amongst other things - had his pint used as an ashtray by Courtney Love, received a post card from Helena Bonham Carter, been invited to stay by Bill Hicks and had tea with the Queen Of England.
